16. Peter Ostrum – Now (Veterinarian)
Despite Willie Wonka’s success, Peter Ostrum rejected the deal for all three films. From then on, he avoided taking action and instead focused on becoming a veterinarian.
Ostrum received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1984 and still works as a professional veterinarian in upstate New York.
Although Ostrum has avoided most interview and publicity requests, he has been to several Wonka birthday events in recent years.
