33. Al Green – Now (Pastor)
Although Al Green was known for his loving albums throughout his career, he was busy recording numerous gospel albums, among which « Lord Will Make a Way » won Green’s No. 1 spot. Grammy Awards. But it’s a personal trauma, and eventually Green sets out on the path to becoming a pastor. In 1974, Green married a married woman who wanted to marry Green, but he refused. The woman got angry and killed herself with Green’s .38 pistol. Green believes this incident was a « watchful » matter, and he later became the appointed pastor of the Full Gospel Tabernacle. Most people today know Green as Pastor Green.
