Adrian Dantley was one of the most accomplished NBA players of the 1980s. During his 15-year career, Dantley was selected for six All-Stars, two NBA Champions and Rookie of the Year. In 1977. Dantley was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2008.

After his career, Dantley was a ball coach in high school and college. He was an assistant coach for the Denver Nuggets in the mid-2000s and was the team’s interim head coach for many seasons during the 2010 season, when George Carr was battling cancer.
