30. Erik Estrada – Then
Many will immediately recognize Erik Estrada as a California Highway Patrol Officer Frank Poncherello at CHiP. The series was extremely popular on NBC, and aired for six seasons from 1977 to 1983, for a total of 139 episodes. Thanks to the series, Estrada became widely known and helped him get out of Hollywood from all of the unique little roles he had before. Unlike some of the cast on this list, Estrada has managed to sustain that fame in a number of other roles and continues to work on screen and voice. However, his motorcycle adventure must have left a lasting impression on him, as Estrada started a surprising additional career in 2009.
