After suing her parents to control her income, Smith and his wife at the time, 15-year-old vegetarian chef Heidi Van Pelt (Heidi Van Pelt) set up a vegan dairy farm and food service company Playfood. Unfortunately, neither the marriage nor the affair lasted.
Today, Smith lives on a sailboat in California and helps disaster relief charities.
